     More violence at Occupy protests as Occupy DC protestors assault and surround conservatives exiting a Defending the American Dream Summit hosted by Americans for Prosperity at a Washington convention center Friday night.

     Prior to dismissing attendees of the event, hundreds of Occupy DC protestors gathered outside the center. Several AFP organizers report that they called 9-1-1 to ensure that police would avoid any violent confrontation between Occupiers and the dinner attendees, however they report that they were hung up on by 9-1-1 screeners several times. A spokesman for Washington’s mayor denied such.

      There was a limited police presence outside, however not enough to stop protestors from surrounding conservatives attempting to exit the convention center as well as several assaults. Several protestors said their expressed purpose of protesting was to prohibit the attendees from leaving.

     One video shows a disabled woman in a wheelchair with a service dog being prevented from leaving by Occupy DC protestors. The protestors prohibited the disabled woman from leaving while screaming robotically that “This is what Democracy Looks Like.” After this video was shot, the woman attempted to leave, reporting to the Daily Caller that several of the protestors “tried to pull me out of my wheelchair and take my service dog.”  

     Another video shows two protestors arguing with a security, using crying children as human shields:

      Another video shows an elderly seventy-eight year-old women being pushed down the stairs by the Occupiers. She severely injured her wrists, legs and ankles. She reported that only one of the Occupiers helped her after she was allegedly assaulted.

    Yet another video shows the protestors blocking the exit for the conservatives while robotically screaming a number of repeated, meaningless phrases such as “Banks got bailed out, we got sold out;” “Hey! Hey! Ho! Ho! This corporate greed has got to go;” and “We are the 99%.” It also depicts one protestor screaming at the conservatives holding a sign which says “Republicans=Koch Addicts” (1:22) and another protestor exposing himself the attendees inside the convention center at (2:50):

     Occupy DC’s Twitter account reported that there were arrests at the event, however police reported that there were no arrests.

     That’s right; this violent Occupy DC mob prohibits these people from leaving, assaults them and uses children as shields simply because they disagree with the attendees of this event. So much for peaceful protest.
